Our consultants have over 10 years of experience developing mobile software for Platform Providers, Handset Manufacturers, Network Operators and Software Vendors.
Our focus has always been on Delivering Quality to our customers and Technical Expertise. This ethos has enabled us to build long term lasting relationships within the mobile industry with companies such as:
Our consultants helped to develop the first Symbian OS device, the Ericsson R380, back in 1998. Since then we went on to develop software for some of the world’s leading mobile products such as:
Sling Media Mobile TV - developing the SlingPlayer Mobile client in a very short timeframe. The main challenges were establishing and validating user connections, querying existing device capabilities and creating mechanisms for handling and synchronizing the incoming audio and video stream. The user interface had to adequately reflect the range of options available while maintaining a high degree of usability.
Audible Audio Application - this involved working with Audible to develop their audio player applications. Audible Player enables users to access books, newspapers and periodicals in a variety of audio file formats. Options exist to download sizable files automatically at periods of lower data charges.
Avaya PBX Telephony - our consultants worked with Avaya to design and develop a solution that enables mobile handsets to seamlessly integrate into their PBX solution and use the services it provides. The solution involves direct interaction between the SIP stack and the PBX and manages synchronization of contact and call lists between device and server. We were chosen over other software companies, due to our innovative approach to solve potential issues with the solution.
Motorola Push-To-Talk (PTT) - PTT is a half-duplex solution allowing the carriage of voice in one direction over an IP network to provide a “walkie-talkie” service for handsets. We were involved in the design and development of Motorola’s PTT solutions. These extensive projects included the implementation of a SIP stack to handle session creation for the PTT solution. Other functionality such as Presence information and Push-To-View were implemented as part of the overall package. The project also involved making the solution customisable and designing a cross-platform architecture that is easily ported to various mobile handsets.
BroadSoft VoIP PBX Solution - working with BroadSoft to integrate handset capability into their VoIP-enabled PBX server solution known as BroadWorks Assistant Mobile. This product enables cheaper routing of calls and is aimed primarily at the small to medium enterprise market.
Vodafone Call Management - our consultants worked with Vodafone to implement a Symbian OS client to interact with their existing PC management software, that performs call, contact and SMS management over Bluetooth. After undertaking an initial feasibility study, using the full extent of our Consultant’s expertise, innovation and ingenuity to solve problems, we successfully specified, designed and implemented the required solution.
DataViz - ActiveSync Application - involved working with DataViz implementing their Push Email solutions across several mobile platforms.
Kodak - S60 Image Upload Application - specifying and developing for Kodak and Nokia an S60 image management application, to upload images to a remote server. This work has required close corporation with Nokia to integrate, test and Symbian Sign the software on pre-release devices to enable the application to ship within the phones.
Java Implementation - our consultants were responsible for maintaining the entire Java implementation within a Mobile OS platform. This included JSR maintenance, setting up & running the TCK and JDTS tests and building a suite of Test Midlets to test the MIDP implementation.
MMS Implementation - responsible for the design, development and integration of the MMS MTMs (plug-in message type modules) into a mobile OS.
BlackBerry Connect Application - design, development, test and maintenance of BlackBerry Connect Push Email solution across multiple devices. This involved close collaboration with RIM to specify the functional requirements, design of the overall solution, development of the overall solution and integration into the Messaging, Calendar & Contacts applications. A large part of this work was to produce detailed test plans and specifications and conduct rigorous System, Stress and IOT testing.
Motorola DRM - our consultants worked with Motorola to integrate OMA DRM and provisioning support within their UIQ handsets.
Home Screen Graphics - this involved working with a handset manufacturer to design and develop a solution to provide smooth transition of animated icons, integrated into the device’s home screen.
Multimedia & Graphics - providing assistance to a handset manufacturer’s Graphics teams, working on a mixture of new developments for the media player application and maintenance of existing media applications. This functionality included a pen gesture engine designed to detect a variety of stylus motion such as clockwise and anticlockwise circular motion. In addition, our team created a new JPEG library which added the ability to pan and zoom images smoothly.
DLNA solution - our consultants designed and development an IMS DLNA Connected Home mobile application for a handset manufacturer. The application is integrated into a mobile device, with a completely new UI to the standard user interface, with animated menus with transitioning effects. This UI involved writing new graphics and UI components, as these were not available within the platform. The application enables the user to find, view and share their multimedia content.
So why choose us rather than the alternatives ?
We have the ability - that is without question - but what else ?
• We're pro-active !
We spot issues, we tell you about them, and then we tell you how to address them
• We're responsible !
You don't need to push us to get the job done, we push ourselves
• We're likeable !
We want to develop relationships as well as software, so you will use us again and again...
