We are incredibly excited to announce that we won Best App for our DonorPath project with NHS Blood and Transplant at last night’s Northern Digital Awards 2017.
Matt Hunt, CEO of Apadmi Enterprise, said: “We are delighted to have won Best App for our work with the NHS Blood and Transplant authority. DonorPath is supporting the digital transformation of traditional administration in UK healthcare, so it’s a project we are proud to have worked on.
“This solution is more than just an app. We have designed and built a full system for the app to run on, alongside website portals and server middleware to integrate into existing NHS systems. The collective result of this whole solution helps to improve patient care and process efficiency, as well as cut the costs of printing and paper waste; it’s great that this work has been recognised.”
Taking place at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, the awards represent the best of the best in digital marketing in the north of England. Full of hugely credible agencies and marketing talent, every year we’re impressed by the creativity and innovation displayed by the nominated teams, and this year was no exception.
Our win, although well-deserved, didn’t come easy, and the competition was fierce. There were some fantastic projects and the judges certainly had difficult decisions in all award categories. For us, it’s an honour and a privilege to be named Best App for such a worthwhile project.
The win has topped off an amazing 12 months for the Apadmi team, with the completion of several large projects for standout brands, such as our app for BBC Music. We work incredibly hard, so it’s very rewarding to be recognised by the wider industry.
Apadmi were the reigning winners of last year’s award for Large Digital Agency, so it was fantastic to return and win another award this year. There was much celebrating afterwards!
