Apadmi Featured in Parliamentary Review

Sep 28, 2017 - Blog

If you’d told me in 2009, when we launched Apadmi, that we’d be appearing in a Parliamentary Review I’d have laughed you out of our very small office.

So it felt very surreal to be at The House Of Commons last Thursday for the launch of a review with our name in it.

(It was even more surreal to listen to Frank Lampard talk to the room about Jose Mourinho’s naked management techniques. But that’s another story…)

The annual Parliamentary Review is a government produced report highlighting industry leaders in different fields. And we were selected as one of the key representatives to talk about the challenges facing the technology sector.

With the industry fighting against a global skills-gap, we laid out our thoughts as to what needs to happen in the UK if the whole sector is to keep progressing.

Simply, investment and education.

You can read the full feature in the online version of the Parliamentary Review here, or download the full report here if you want to see what’s happening in the wider tech industry.
