Apadmi focus on enterprise apps at Apps World 2013

We think 2014 will see a boom in app development for enterprise customers.

Conditions are right now for businesses to invest in apps that will increase productivity and efficiency across a wide range of business functions.

Nick Black, our Co-Founder and Sales Director, commented: “There are a number of factors coming together which mean that enterprise apps will be big in 2014. The drive towards mobile working continues to escalate and the cost of devices, particularly tablets, is reducing and enabling companies to deploy more technology across their workforces.

“Businesses are looking for ways to increase efficiencies in a number of areas including data capture, workforce management and how to tackle the complexities of BYOD. Handset manufacturers and MDM providers have also made recent advances that make it easier for enterprise customers to deploy and manage both devices and apps amongst their employees.”

Business apps are moving beyond standard functions like managing contacts and schedules – they’ve started to increase in scope to cover system management, sales catalogues, management solutions, internal communications, finance, HR – the list goes on.

The user interface will be a crucial to their success though. Replicating the intuitive app design principles of consumer apps will help make enterprise apps enjoyable to use, as well as secure and reliable.

Nick continued: “Enterprise apps have the potential to revolutionise many business functions. But most organisations still don’t have specific mobile strategies or experts in place to drive these advances. We’ll be offering advice and ideas to companies interested in the opportunities presented by apps for business during this year’s Apps World exhibition.”

We’ll be exhibiting at Apps World from 22nd-23rd October 2013 at Earls Court 2 in London, stand 231. Panaram, an Enterprise Application company, and part of the Apadmi Group, will also be exhibiting at the event on stand 413.
