Apadmi win big at the UK App Awards
Last night, we headed down to the UK App Awards at Montcalm Marble Arch, London. The venue was looking suitability festive for the occasion.
Our CSO, Marcus, presented a number of the awards. He had two standout favourites:
Diary Zapp was built by our friends at Matmi, but the idea came from a nine year old boy who wanted help his sister stick with her reading over the Summer holiday. Really brilliant! Check it out here!
Crest Planning‘s Halo Event Management App
This is a truly life-saving solution. The team behind it are serving police officers and experts in emergency planning and safety. Their experience led them to create a brand new app that is already being rolled out to manage crowd safety at huge events and festivals – they may not be ‘app professionals’ (yet!) but they’ve delivered something that truly stood out. Fantastic. Check it out here!
The last award of the night was for Large Digital Agency of the Year – and we were thrilled to pick it up. Our business analyst, Cat Jones, collected the trophy – but like all awards, it’s really for every single one of the Apadmi team and our clients who have worked tirelessly and imaginatively to make 2017/18 such a great year.
(Here’s a suitably typical and blurred post awards celebration shot.)
A big congratulations to all of the other UK App Award winners – the UK’s app scene is in rude health!
