How we work

Our people are our priority

We work with the best Hiring Partners

Apadmi not only seeks out the best talent directly but also works with several hiring partners to seek out emerging talent in the tech industry. Take a look through our current partnerships…

Apadmi takes on a number of Northcoders graduates each year whilst supporting the wider Northcoders scheme by informing their curriculum with our industry experience - ensuring their students are taught exactly what they need to know to thrive in the development industry.
Code Nation
Our hiring partnership with Code Nation has seen several graduates come to work for us. We are also in regular contact with Code Nation about their curriculum to offer our insight into what tech professionals need to learn before joining the workforce.
University Graduate Scheme
We offer summer internships to many students studying a range of applicable subjects and work with them towards their employability post-graduation. Apadmi is not affiliated with any individual university and accepts applications from all students.

Working in together in difficult times

The coronavirus pandemic has presented a unique set of challenges for every business and its employees. From the earliest days of the pandemic, Apadmi strived to protect employee health – by migrating to a full company remote working approach 2 weeks before the nationwide lockdown.

We also increased our awareness of mental health during the pandemic and encouraged several initiatives to help support every employee in their work and home life during these trying times.

Laptops for the children of Apadmi staff

We gave laptops to the children of all Apadmi employees that needed them to continue their studies.

Optional Furlough Scheme

We gave employees the opportunity to put themselves forward for furlough if they needed more time to spend on homeschooling and supporting their families.

Friday stand-ups

To maintain our sense of community across the business we introduced full company stand-ups on a Friday with celebrity guest stars and remote video tours.

Reduced core hours

We made the workday more flexible to accommodate the needs of parents to spend more time looking after their children.

Mindfulness coaching

We brought on mindfulness coach Caroline Blundell to lead a series of workshops and 1-2-1 sessions to help our teams maintain their mental health throughout the pandemic.

Socially distanced office

Throughout the pandemic, we have done everything we could to keep the office open for those who need it with a socially distanced one-way system and regular sanitisation points.
