A app that plays a crucial role in critical communication within the UMCU

Working with the UMCU, Apadmi Enterprise has developed an Android enterprise application that plays a crucial role in critical communication and replaces the traditional pager system within a hospital environment.

11,000 healthcare employees

Working in partnership with unified communications provider, Mitel and system integrator, Zetacom, Apadmi Enterprise's critical communication app has been deployed across the largest healthcare institution in the Netherlands, serving core medical staff including doctors, nurses and consultants.
As part of a private PGSM network, the app, as part of its wider infrastructure, is mobilising an environment heavily reliant on traditional technologies and paper based solutions. The app allows doctors and nurses to communicate effectively and be notified quickly and clearly of emergencies and their locations. Notifications can be accepted and or rejected along with a messaging feature for establishing and confirming meetings.

“The use of mobile technology within the University Medical Center Utrecht is helping to streamline internal operations and vastly improve communications in a time critical context. ”
