Launching the first mobile app for Crypto News in the Netherlands

Newsbit is one of the Netherlands’ fastest-growing crypto news platforms, helping users stay informed with real-time updates, market insights, price information and educational content.

While its desktop experience had built a strong following, Newsbit identified a clear opportunity: crypto moves quickly, and users needed a faster, more convenient way to access news wherever they were.

With no dedicated crypto news apps established in the Dutch market, Newsbit had the chance to become the first. The goal was simple — create a native mobile app that delivered breaking news, market updates and a seamless user experience built for crypto audiences.

Apadmi designed and developed a brand-new mobile app for Newsbit across iOS and Android. Newsbit provided brand assets and API input, whilst Apadmi led the full delivery process, including QA, testing and deployment.

Working in focused one-week Agile sprints, our mobile team delivered a release-ready product in just three weeks.

The result was a scalable app that gave users a dedicated destination for crypto news, market data and alerts without relying on browser tabs or third-party platforms. The gap in the market is now filled, with nearly 90,000 users utilising the app.

Thanks to push notifications, Newsbit now has a direct, real-time channel to reach its audience; turning casual browsers into daily active users.
