Apadmi has been announced as the innovation partner for MoveStreets as the property portal app reveals big plans to scale its digital presence.

Apadmi’s dedicated development, product, project and client services team has been appointed to work in an agile manner focused on mobile app and server development. The team will scale the existing MoveStreets app, with a brief to re-architect, refresh and innovate with a features roadmap over the next 12 months.

MoveStreets is backed by entrepreneur Adam Kamani (founder of fashion brand Pretty Little Thing) who has pledged  £5,000,000 in technology investment to fuel its growth. The company has ambitions to disrupt the property technology industry with its ‘swipe right to like’ app experience for house hunting.

The MoveStreets app is improving the way that home-buyers and renters search for property – it’s simple, it’s easy and it’s fun. We came to market with the first “swipe right” property app, but the potential to grow, disrupt and add more and more new features provides an even greater opportunity to be truly innovative. Of course, this is not something that traditional property portals are exactly renowned for. We are impressed with Apadmi’s digital product credentials, their impressive client portfolio and clear passion for mobile technology. And it was a bonus to find a Manchester-based partner that aligns with our own values of quality and speed.

Craig Burton COO, Movestreets

Garry Partington, Apadmi’s CEO, believes that Movestreets partnering with Apadmi is a great match that will shake up the property market. He added:

“Apadmi is delighted to be partnering with MoveStreets to create digital products that truly innovate. MoveStreets is the perfect example of a company that is empowering users and appealing to a new generation of house hunters to make searching for property fun and fast, and we are truly excited to be partnering with them.”

Jasper Van De Luijtgaarden, Managing Director at Apadmi is also excited to see what will come of the partnership.

“The MoveStreets brand and plan aligns perfectly with Apadmi’s approach to build innovative technology that moves markets. Our goal is always to grow and scale with a company and add value for years to come. We can’t wait to see the results of two innovative Manchester growth businesses coming together.”

MoveStreets has already matched over 70,000 people with a home to buy or rent. The app can be downloaded for Android and iPhone.
