Digital Growth & Readiness Review
Turn digital ambition into a prioritised, practical plan for growth.
Apadmi’s Digital Growth & Readiness Review helps organisations in Sri Lanka identify where digital can create the greatest business value, what’s worth investing in and what to do next. In just 4–6 weeks, we bring together commercial, product, customer and technology expertise to give you an evidence-backed strategy and clear route to execution.
Sri Lanka’s digital opportunity is accelerating
Sri Lanka has moved into a new period of strategic investment. The question for businesses is no longer simply whether to digitise, but where digital investment will create the greatest return.
With 29.4 million mobile subscriptions, 17.6 million smartphones and tablets and 55% of retail payment value already moving through fast digital payments, the foundations for digital growth are already in place.
Now it’s about deciding what to build next.
Start with the business, not the technology
Digital strategy shouldn’t begin with “we need an app” or “we need AI.”
It should begin with the business outcome you’re trying to achieve.
Whether that’s growing revenue, reducing cost, improving customer experience, reducing risk or building new capability, we identify where digital can have the greatest impact and what needs to be in place to make it happen.
We bring deep mobile expertise, while looking across your wider digital ecosystem.
One review. Four lenses. One prioritised plan.
We look across the business to understand where the biggest opportunities sit and what it will take to realise them.
Business model & value
Commercial levers, growth opportunities, investment cases, operating model, priorities and KPIs.
Digital & product
Your digital vision, role of the product, roadmap, channel strategy, governance and measurement.
Customer & experience
Customer research, priority journeys, UX, loyalty, engagement and value proposition.
Technology & platform
Architecture, integrations, data, platforms, security, partner choices and delivery readiness.
Clear priorities. Practical next steps.
This isn’t a strategy document designed to sit on a shelf. The exact outputs flex around your challenge, but every review is designed to give your leadership team evidence, prioritisation and a practical route to execution.
You could leave with:
Global experience. Local expertise.
Apadmi opened its Colombo hub in 2026, building a growing regional team that works with organisations including Keells and JKCG.
That means businesses in Sri Lanka can access local delivery backed by Apadmi’s global strategy, product, design and engineering expertise.
It’s the combination that differentiates Apadmi’s wider strategy proposition too: strategy grounded in what is commercially viable, technically feasible and genuinely deliverable.

Proven impact in Sri Lanka
Taking Keells Nexus from loyalty programme to market-leading digital experience
Apadmi gave Keells’ 20-year-old Nexus Rewards programme its first mobile home, bringing a loyalty programme trusted by more than two million members into a seamless digital experience.
Nexus Rewards has been pioneering loyalty in Sri Lanka for more than 20 years, introducing mobile number-based loyalty as early as 2014. But while the programme had built strong customer trust and loyalty, its digital experience hadn’t kept pace. Customers had the points, personalised offers and brand affinity; what was missing was a seamless mobile experience that brought it all together.
Apadmi’s challenge was to give this established loyalty programme a mobile home, while protecting everything customers already valued about it.
KEELLS NEXUS RESULTS
The Keells Nexus app reached #1 in the Shopping category in Sri Lanka’s App Stores, with 80% onboarding completion and less than 1% churn.

The principle was simple: keep it personal, useful and focused on the moments that matter. The team concentrated on what customers valued most, making it effortless to earn, track and use rewards as part of their everyday shop.
Customers can explore deals before shopping, track points in real time, access partner offers and use QR codes at checkout—all within a product designed to scale.
Apadmi continues to support and evolve the Nexus experience, with Keells’ team in Colombo working closely with Apadmi specialists across Sri Lanka and Europe.
Together, we’re using behavioural data to shape the roadmap, deepen personalisation and build the long-term habits that keep customers coming back.
“Working in partnership with Apadmi, we have created an app which brings our purpose to life by helping customers save more, enjoy exclusive rewards and feel part of a community. The partnership has been incredibly successful, and we can’t wait to see what we achieve together next.”
