Apadmi climbs to #2 in Top 150 Agencies

Apadmi has been named #2 in Prolific North’s 2026 Top 150 Agencies, our highest placing yet. It caps a steady climb from 6th in 2024 and 3rd in 2025.

It lands just weeks after a European Loyalty Award win with Greene King and four finalist places at the 2026 Lovie Awards as momentum grows with new client wins, product launches and increased global presence.

WHY THIS MATTERS

This is the first year Prolific North has brought its PR, integrated and digital rankings together into a single Top 150. Compiled by Mustard and backed by the Alliance of Independent Agencies, it maps a Northern digital agency sector now generating £1.4bn in combined turnover.

This means #2 isn’t the top of one niche, it puts an independent, growing mobile-first consultancy among the leading businesses across every discipline in the North.

Garry Partington, CEO, Apadmi: “Even though now in our 17th year we partner with brands far beyond Manchester, this city is where we started and remains home to our global headquarters. Our Northern clients backed us early, and however far we grow, that connection stays at the heart of how we work.”

What’s driven the acceleration for Apadmi?

This year we’ve done more for more brands, in more places.

  • Launches that pay back: Footasylum’s new app recovered its entire development investment in just one month following launch, with conversion up 77% YoY. Work with the likes of YeoValley, Adrian Flux and Topps Tiles also went live with warm reception.
  • Continued long-term relationships: Over 7 years with Domino’s, 10 years with Co-op in the UK, and 15 years with Mediahuis in the Netherlands. We keep building success for our long-term partners alongside our own.
  • Further strategic hires: The arrival of a new Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Revenue Officer has allowed us to maintain laser focus on growth in 2026.
  • Beyond Manchester: Successful product launches across multiple markets this year saw us put a new mobile loyalty app in the pockets of half a million Sri Lankan shoppers for Keells, and the comeback of legendary Dutch social media platform Hyves.
  • A rebrand to fuel expansion: As we began to outgrow our old identity and evolve in new markets and sectors, we needed a brand that reflects where we are now and where we’re heading next. Our new brand has helped us better show up in the digital consultancy space, and to be seen as the innovative business that we are.

Mellissa Flowerdew-Clarke, Global CMO: “What I love about this result is what sits behind it. We’re growing globally, winning bigger briefs and launching products that deliver real commercial impact, but we’re doing it without losing the reputation and relationships we’ve built over 17 years. Moving from sixth to second in just two years is a great marker of that momentum, and there’s plenty more to come.”
