5 reasons to attend the Retail Technology Show

This year’s Retail Technology Show will bring together Europe’s most forward-thinking retailers and leading tech innovators for two days of industry thought leadership and important conversations on the future of retail.

With only a few days to go until hundreds of the biggest brands and tech disruptors are gathered at Olympia London, we’re predicting our top show highlights and reasons why this show is one not to be missed!

Hear from the likes of Mary Portas, Steven Bartlett and Jake Humphry

This year’s line-up has an array of household names that pack a punch. From founder and Dragon’s Den investor Steven Bartlett to businesswoman and retail legend Mary Portas to broadcaster and podcast host Jake Humphry, there’s no shortage of iconic faces.

There are also a number of speakers from Europe’s top brands attending; Virgin, M&S, Adidas, Currys, Co-op, Morrisons and Ikea just to name a few.

Each with their own unique perspective on the future of retail, these names and brands alone have us sold!

Get a glimpse into the future of retail tech innovation with Deliveroo

There will be plenty of talks looking at the future of retail technology innovation to give you a deeper understanding of subjects such as what the metaverse means for retail, how you can use AI for cost reduction and efficiency, and how you can be more innovative through collaboration with tech suppliers.

Some key talks we’ll be listening in on are Paul Wilkinson’s Fireside Chat sharing his learnings in retail innovation from working At Amazon, Tesco Labs and Deliveroo, as well as the Keynote Panel Discussion: Predicting how Key Innovations impacting retail today will evolve by 2028 with Deliveroo, Ann Summers, Bravissimo and the British Retail Consortium.

Learn how to get closer to your customer with Bloom & Wild, Currys and Primark

One of the topics we’re most excited to learn more about  is how to become more ‘customer obsessed’.

This strand of talks will explore how to create online and offline experiences that delight, maximising loyalty of cautious customers, increasing sales and awareness, and standing out through a clear brand identity and purpose.

We're particularly looking forward to the Keynote Panel Discussion: Unlocking the value of your data to drive real insight and customer loyalty with Bloom & Wild, Currys and East of England Co-op. Primark’s ethical look at customer-centric marketing will also make for an interesting exploration of applying technology to customer interactions.

The opportunity to network with the best of the best

There will be plenty of opportunity to get to know the retailers and tech innovators attending over both days.

The Retail Tech Show has provided a number of spaces for retailers and suppliers alike to relax and chat. There’s a retailers lounge for brands looking to grab a coffee and connect with like-minded businesses, a champagne bar for all to mix and mingle, and a big retail party to wrap up the first day with a bang!

Who knows what ground-breaking ideas may be sparked over a coffee, or what collaborations could be formed over a glass of champagne…

Be inspired by stories of success with the likes of Co-op

The two-day conference covers a range of topics - what we’re looking forward to are the stories of success that will no doubt inspire many other businesses both big and small in their retail journey.
