What you need to know

Co-op was looking for a digital solution to help achieve its goal of capturing 3% of the repeat prescription market. It needed an app which revolutionised the way patients manage the delivery and collection of their prescriptions.

There was another challenge. Co-op wanted anyone to be able to use the app, regardless of whether they were Co-op members or not. The result was an app which allowed patients to quickly and securely set up a connection to their GP surgery, by integrating registration with their NHS login.

The Co-op healthcare app performed brilliantly from launch and helped patients across the UK by providing a safe, contactless way of ordering their repeat prescriptions.

How we moved the market

The app was one of the first of its kind to integrate with a patient's GP practice, by simply using an NHS login to register. This allowed them to order repeat prescription medicine quickly and securely.

It also featured push notifications to help with order tracking and included an integrated chat system for any queries or issues.
