Apadmi 2025: A year in review
New countries, new clients and new capabilities - 12 things Apadmi is proud to celebrate as the end of the year approaches.
1. Apadmi plants flag in Poland
Another year of growth kicked off in style in January with our new friends in Poland Droids On Roids joining the Apadmi family, adding another 100 mobile experts to the team. Based in Wrocław and boasting big name clients like Carlsberg and CCC, it’s been a brilliant first year with two Maximising Mobile events in Warsaw, cross-functional teams working in multiple locations and new clients in retail and travel.

2. Pinch, punch - a move into media
The Apadmi Group was further bolstered in July with another acquisition in Amsterdam adding expertise within an entirely new sector. Media specialist Pinch has been delivering brilliant mobile experiences to leading media houses and publishers in the Benelux region for more than 10 years and is now part of Apadmi, adding media capability alongside our existing experience in retail, financial services, healthcare, utilities and travel.
3. Public sector partners - still saving lives
From growth into media, to consolidation within an existing sector - Apadmi’s ongoing partnership with NHS Blood and Transplant has created efficiencies for specialist teams supporting the organ donor process for more than a decade. The work was brought to life in video and on-stage at Manchester Tech Fest in September. Apadmi also extended its public sector work in this year by embarking on an exciting project in a new area - more on this in 2026!

4. Domino’s app continues to deliver
Longstanding partnerships are an ongoing theme at Apadmi with many of our clients having worked with us for several years. Apadmi has collaborated with Domino’s UK&I since 2019, creating its award-winning mobile app, which now accounts for 76% of its online revenue. The Domino’s team has designated space in Apadmi’s Manchester HQ and the relationship has been further extended in 2025.
5. Loyalty, pubs and restaurants
Mobile is playing an increasingly important role as an enabler of extra loyalty and to build on Apadmi’s ongoing work with a leading UK pub and restaurant business, we launched a new loyalty app this year, delivering personalised offers, discounts and rewards. Initial results are super encouraging, giving customers a seamless experience before, during and after their visit across multiple brands.
6. Voting with your feet
Leading sportswear retailer Footasylum also made big strides in loyalty and mobile in 2025, working with Apadmi to launch an all-new app, focussing on creating the best shopping experience for its customers. Alongside the initial build, Apadmi is also providing ongoing support through its Performance Team ensuring ongoing optimisation. Footasylum is also blazing a trail with its approach to combining commerce and content, having created its own hugely successful YouTube reality series Locked In.
7. Mobile insights
There has been plenty of Apadmi content to spread the mobile gospel this year (and not just at Christmas). In depth reports included the Digital Loyalty Report, the App Champions Report and most recently a temperature check of where mobile technology is now and what to expect next in the Apadmi Mobile Tech Trends Report.
This was supported by more than 50 thought leadership articles covering everything from advances in agentic technology to how AI is influencing customer service, to mobile UX design best practice and the power of pocket nudges. Plenty of bedtime reading for the festive period!

8. People power
Of course none of our success this year would be possible without our fantastic people. Apadmi’s mobile experts now total more than 450, with good news at both ends of the scale. In its fourth year, Apadmi’s grad programme is nurturing new talent, while our retention rate of existing talent is an impressive 90.8%. Perhaps the best endorsement though, is being recognised in the Sunday Times Best Places to Work list for the third year in a row.
9. Partnerships, platforms and progress
Apadmi’s partnership programme has progressed rapidly in 2025. Working alongside big content and loyalty platform partners, we’re able to ensure the right mobile experience is in place to unlock both customer and business value. With partner activity across retail, travel and financial services, the team has delivered events in Amsterdam, Berlin, Barcelona, Lisbon and London. That’s been supported by 12 further Apadmi owned events in Poland, the Netherlands and the UK
10. Going global
Apadmi’s international growth has gathered further momentum with new projects in new markets. We’ve been spreading our wings with client wins including app optimisation work for a Middle Eastern airline, an all-new loyalty app for a leading supermarket chain in Asia and an ongoing digital project partnership for an international airport group.
11. Rewarded by awards
A full trophy cabinet shouldn’t be the only barometer for a successful year, but winning awards is always nice. Humble brags aside, we’ve managed to bag our fair share of silverware this year making 20 shortlists and bagging 13 wins: including Dev Agency of the year at the Global Agency Awards; Digital Transformation Agency at Campaign’s Agency of the year Awards; Most Impressive Growth at the UK Business Tech Awards; and Our CEO Garry Partington also won the Great British Entrepreneur Award for the North West.

12. Financial success
Finally, at number 12 it’s not drummers drumming to finish the year, but the heartbeat of any successful business - its finances. And the Apadmi books continue to make for good reading. Revenue across FY25 is up 32% on the previous year, backed up by a 54% increase in EBITDA, with more of the same forecast for 2026. Mobile is clearly in rude health, but we would say that…
Merry Christmas and ‘Appy New Year!
