Charles Stanley has been leading the personal investment and finance market since 1792, and had no plans of falling behind with its digital solutions. With two current apps in place, its goal was to not only improve its current products, but also appeal to a new generation of traders.
Current applications included My Charles Stanley, aimed at clients using their discretionary managed service and Charles Stanley Direct, for clients using online trading investment platforms. Apadmi was tasked with improving the current experience of both and outlining future functionality for continued success.

How we moved the market
The first step was to perform an in-depth review of the UX and code of both the existing apps, before looking at additional requirements, such as registration, making payments and opening an account.
The work is ongoing, but initial results include removing the complexity in the user journey, integrating Google Firebase Analytics and introducing new functionality. Users can now trade via the Charles Stanley Direct App, pay money into their accounts and engage in live chat following intercom integration.
