Welcome to the first Apadmi #SportTechTalk – an interview series dedicated to all things sport, tech and digital. Here, our sports lead David Stevenson speaks to Richard Lang, Founder of cycling software tool SPOK’D.
At Apadmi, we’re fascinated by the increasing role that technology and data can have in transforming both fan engagement and athletic performance.
We’ve recently won awards with SailGP for example, after we launched their world-first, second-screen experience to a global audience, and are working with other sports brands right now on some hugely exciting launches – watch this space!
Whether playing professional football for six years when I was younger, or now, continuing to live my passion for the industry via technology, the world of sport is one I’ve always been close to.
My role here, as well as being Chair of the Pro-Manchester Sports Committee, leads me to speak with some amazing people across the region, within this fast-paced sector – and at Apadmi, we’re always keen to celebrate and learn from other innovators in the sports tech world.
